IN DEBT to the Believer and the Unbeliever
"Both to Greeks and to barbarians
(to the cultured and the uncultured), both to the wise and to the foolish,
I have an obligation to discharge and a duty to perform and a debt to pay."

Come Redeemer, Come!

This week I have had the privelege of helping a friend and sister in the Lord from Zimbabwe by helping her to create a website for her ministry to support HIV/AIDS orphans in Zimbabwe. In doing this I have done much websearching on these orphans and orphanages, and have begun to feel the heart of the Lord towards them. It's taken me into a place of intercession and travail for these orphans that I have never been before. It's allowed me to see and feel to some degree the depth of their need, their poverty, lack and homelessness, and the need for people to love them and reach out to them in support, both physically and financially.
As I began to pray I saw these orphans down in a huge pit, thousands of them, stuck in a pit of poverty that they couldn't get out of. Then I saw people over here in America so blessed in comparison, but also stuck in a pit of lack and debt. I saw churches filled with people that had hearts to help these orphans, churches that were mission-minded that wanted to reach out and help these orphans and orphanages, but they were down in a pit as well, a pit of lack and debt. I began to cry out to the Lord for Him to come and redeem us, to pull His bride, the Church, out of this pit of lack and debt, to bless her so that she would be a blessing, to redeem her from the pit and set her feet upon the rock of her Redeemer. I began to cry out to the Lord to come and bridge His bride over to these orphans, to manifest His mercy and grace and flow through His people and the Church in a greater way.
O Jesus, I cry out to You. You are our Redeemer. You are our Deliverer. You love these little children. Your heart and blood cries out for them. Come Jesus, come and redeem Your bride from the pit of lack and debt. Show Your mercy upon her and pour out Your blessing into her house. Rebuke the devour for her sake. Show forth Your glory in her life by blessing her in abundance so that she can be a blessing, a blessing that You've created and desired for her to be. She is in covenant with You, Jesus. She is Your covenant partner, bought by Your blood, redeemed from the curse of poverty and lack. Show forth Your power and Your glory in her life. Let Your hand of grace and mercy reach across the ocean to these orphans through Your bride. Let these little children see Your face and come to know You through Your bride. Come Redeemer, come. Come and do what only You can do.
We wait paitently for You, Jesus. We trust You. We remain in covenant with You that You may glorify Yourself through us. Amen and amen

"I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction,
out of the miry clay;
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
And He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear,
And will trust in the Lord."
Psalm 40: 1-3

Let Us See Your Glory

I want to try to share a couple of experiences that I had this last Friday night during our Friday night's glory service. They were precious to me and holy moments, ones that I hope to never forget. I always look forward to these Friday night services, because God shows Himself to us in such powerful ways.
It was sometime during the service when we were all in a place of glorious worship and Pastor exhorted us to invite the angels to come and join us in our worship. The atmosphere of the sanctuary was full of God's presence and the expectation was high for these angelic beings that are sent to minister to the heirs of salvation to come and join us in worship. I knelt down and began to draw upon the Spirit and come into agreement with his prayer, and as I did this I felt a tangible presence on either side of me. I felt a touch or a nudge on my right arm. I knew it was angels. I could feel them and see them with the eyes of my spirit. They were kneeling down beside me on either side. Then in the Spirit I saw them sit up and turn to each other and lift their wings over my head, covering me like the two cherubim over the mercy seat. It was holy and it was precious to me. I could have stayed there forever. It was such an intimate place to be and to experience especially as we had earlier been singing and worshiping with the song "Commune with Me between the wings of the mercy seat."  The Lord was truly taking me to this place with Him and had sent His angels to minister to me and cover me with His love. Thank You, Lord, for that experience, and for sending Your angels into the sanctuary to minister to Your children.
Later on in the service in another place of rich worship after Pastor had finished ministered to us about going up the mountain to experience and see God's glory like Moses and like Jesus had done with the three disciples, I was kneeling and worshiping the Lord, and we began singing, "O Lord, we love the habitation of Your house, the place where Your glory dwells". And as we went high in the Spirit and hit those high notes on the words "Your GLORY dwells", the Lord showed me a picture of myself standing there in His presence and there was a cloth hanging out of my back pocket, and it was glowing brightly. The cloth was an intense and brilliant white and radiating His glory. And then the Lord reminded me of years ago when He had told me to "take ownership of the lottery".  It was something I did in faith and obedience, but it was humiliating and embarrasing. To me it was like a dirty rag that I was being made to carry around with me when it was my desire to live holy and to go into the holy of holies. How could I go in there with this old dirty rag. To me it so represented the world. It felt, smelled and tasted like the world, but the Lord insisted that I carry it and take it into His presence with me. So in the Spirit I had tucked it into my back pocket and gone in, sanctifying it with the Word of God and prayer, and worshiping and seeking Him with my whole heart.  Over the years this "cloth" has been in my heart (and in my back pocket) as something that the Lord wanted to sanctify, seperate and glorify Himself in. And now in this picture that the Lord was giving me this Friday night, He was showing me that it had actually taken on the radiance of His glory as it had been brought into His presence with me so many times over the years. God had done a transforming work in it, in my mind and in my eyes to see the radiance of His glory in it. It was now radiating and showing forth His glory just as we do when we spend time and saturate ourselves in His presence. I believe it was a prophetic sign and picture to me of what God was doing and about to manifest.

O Lord, like this transformed cloth has done we want to shine forth and radiate your glory. We want to illuminate and radiate Your glory in our lives. We want to SEE Your glory, Lord. And as Moses had prayed this prayer, "Lord, show me Your glory" You said You Yourself would let Your goodness pass before him. So we look now to see Your goodness pass before us, Lord. It's Your goodness that leads men to repentance. We need both, Lord. We need Your goodness and we need the grace of repentance. So let us see Your glory, Lord. Let us see what we've never seen before.  Amen and amen

A Waterfall of Blessings

Sunday morning during pre-service prayer as we were entering into a glorious resounding praise to the Lord, He showed me a waterfall gushing out over us. It was pouring out, pouring out. The blessings of God were pouring out over us. As our praise went up the blessings poured out, the dam had been broken, it couldn't be held back, the waters of His blessing couldn't be held back, they were being poured out, poured out, poured out over us. Our praises go up and His blessings were pouring down.  It was a picture the Lord was wanting to give us of the results of our prayers, faith and praise. We are at a place of just receiving now, opening up our hearts and mouths and just praising God for His goodness and faithfulness. Our praises go up and His blessings pour out. The power of that corporate praise increases the flow of that outpouring that it looks like a waterfall that can't be stopped.  Glory!

We receive, Lord! Your are glorious! You are magnificient! You are all empowering!  You are worthy of all praise. You are high and lifted up. All the earth bows its knee to You. Your name is above all names, and we declare Your praises to all nations. We receive the outpouring of Your Spirit and Your blessings as we praise You for who You are and for all that You have done and continue to do. Let our praises be a continual praise and releasing of our faith and love to You. Let our praises flow from our mouths continually. You are deserving, Lord. You are working all things for our good, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. How can we think any differently than to know You as a loving Father that is drawing us to Himself to give us the keys to the kingdom. We receive this key, Father, to praise You and open the heavens and let Your blessings pour out. Amen and amen

Healing in His Wings

"The Sun of Righteousness will arise
with healing in His wings."
(Malachi 4:2)

The Sun of Righteousness lives in me, in us, and in all that receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  As we receive this Word, eat it and meditate on it, it becomes ours. It begins to take root and release the truth of that seed in us.
As I embrace this Word with my heart that's engaged with His, my heart begins to swell and I feel His love and anointing begin to flow as His healing is released and flowing out to others that come to my mind and come into my heart to pray for.  I feel His healing flowing out and being released in His wings in me.
As we each receive this Word, meditate on it, and draw upon its power, together, corporately, I believe we will experience and see the manifested presence and healing power of God released through us in a greater way. The Sun of Righteousness that lives in us will arise in us with healing in His wings in our finances and in our bodies and in our minds. He is alive in us. He just wants to take His place in our hearts and minds. He wants to release His divine power in us and the healing that belongs to us as sons and daughters of the King. This Word has great power hidden in it and just needs to be eaten and allowed to take root, allowed the good soil and opportunity to grow and bear its fruit.
Do you need healing?  Take this Word and eat it. Take this Word and let it take root in you.  Receive it. Believe it. And begin to expect and look for the fruit of it.

Thank You, Lord, for Your Word that is the seed of life.  Thank You that when we eat and plant Your Word in us that we can expect the fruit of that Word to come forth. Help us, Lord, to eat Your Word, to plant it in our hearts and minds and to water it daily with our faith and prayers. Help us, Lord, to be good stewards of this garden in our heart that You are planting. Help us to tend it regularly and remove any weeds of doubt and unbelief that would try to sprout up. Help us to water it regularly with our faith and our prayers. We want to see Your garden grow big in us, Father, as a testimony of Your love and faithfulness in our lives. Thank You, Father God for Your unconditional love and Your mercies that are everlasting. Amen

Mercy Triumphs Over Judgement

Yesterday during pre-service prayer during a time of deep meditation, the Lord had me at His side wrapped in His love. I was so enjoying His presence and the saturating and infilling of my heart with His rich love and grace.  And then I looked out over the people and my heart sank. I saw stacks of unpaid bills and notes that said "delinquent", and debts that they were unable to pay. I saw the faces of the people and the hopelessness and defeat on their faces, knowing that they wanted to make good on these notes but were unable to. I wanted to help them myself by paying them, but I was unable to either.  Then I heard the Lord say, "Take ownership of them. Reach out and take ownership of them."  So I did. I began to reach out with my arms and gather up all the unpaid bills and notes of debt and bring them under my wings like a mother hen would do with her chicks. The Lord stood with me as I gathered and covered these notes, and then I heard the Lord say, "Mercy triumphs over judgement."
I felt His mercy and understood then the power that it had and the authority this mercy stood in over the attitude of judgement that the world took. I knew then that MERCY would always triumph and win the victory over standing in judgement. Jesus had won the victory and stood in authority and victory at the mercy seat and was releasing that mercy and grace through me as I reached out and "took authority" over the debt and lack that oppressed the people and held them in bondage. Thank You, Lord, for showing me this.
And to confirm this experience the Lord blessed me with the Word of the Lord that came forth through the service later that morning. "The Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in his wings." (Mal 4:2)
God is arising with healing and mercy in His wings, and He's manifesting Himself during these dark and desperate times through His great love and gift of mercy in His people. Healing is going to flow in many ways and expressions in this hour as we yield to His mercy and just say "Yes".

He Chose Us

"You did not chose Me, but I chose you and appointed you
that you should go and bare fruit, and that your fruit should remain,
and that whatever you asked the Father in My name
He would give it to you."
(John 15:16)

Father, I thank You for this position in the Kingdom as the bride of Your Son Jesus.
As a people and as Your children, we rise up and take that position that You have appointed for us. We thank You that we are seated with Jesus at Your right hand. We thank You for choosing us and bringing us into the Kingdom for such a time as this. We honor You, Father, and bless Your holy name. We thank You that because of Jesus, the blood that He shed and the life that He gave, that the powers of the devil have been broken, that debt, lack and poverty have been defeated, that the power of sickness and disease, of addiction and every evil work has been destroyed. So now, Father, we stand in our position as the bride of Christ, seated at Your right hand, and we appropriate the blood and the authority that You've given us in the name of Jesus. We declare Your Word over our lives and over our families. We speak and release LIFE into our situation, our families and our churches. Your Word IS life, and we speak it and frame our lives by it. We stand in the name of Your Son Jesus, and we declare Your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven, here in our lives and in our families as it is in heaven.
We stand in our position, Father, under Your covering and validated by You, standing in Your grace and empowered by Your love. Now, be it done to us, Father, according to Your Word. Amen

To See Him

"Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God."
(Matthew 5:8)

In this place in You, Lord, in this realm that's high above the circumstance, that's in the very cloud of Your glory, once again my heart becomes inflamed in Your love for me.  There's a heart connection here like no other, a love exchange that's unhindered from the world, a place of a shared heart with the Lover of my soul. It's a place and a time that is ours alone.

It's in the secret place, in the realm of His glory and in the hidden recesses of His heart that He ignites and inflames our hearts and impassions us to know and receive His love even more. He wants this place more than we do. He wants to share and release His love to us even more than we do. It's His place of intimacy and His place of glory. He simply draws us up here and into it as we say "yes".
Lord, we yield to Your drawing.  We surrender to You, and we say "yes". We come up higher into Your love. We want to see You. Jesus. We want to know You. We want to be pure in heart so that we can see You face to face.
Make it so, Lord. Make this year a year that we SEE You. Make this year a year that the world sees a Bride that is inflamed in Your love and blessed beyond recognition, blessed and being a blessing, blessed and sharing Your love to our neighbors, the nations and the world. Make it so, Lord. Ignite our love and our hearts and make us flames of Your glory.
