Whatever It Takes

"If my people, who are called by my name,

will humble themselves and pray and seek my face

and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear

from heaven, and I will forgive their sin 

and will heal their land."

2 Chronicles 7:14

Here we are God, Your people, called by Your name. We are coming to You in humility, confessing our sins, repenting of our wicked ways, confessing our desperation and need for You. Whatever it takes. Take it away! We need You, God. We need You! Come break the chains that hinder love. Let Your fire burn, consuming us. Let Your jealous flame come take away everything.  Let Your jealous flame come and write Your name upon our heart, until all that remains is the light of Your countenance. Whatever it takes, God, take it away. Take it away!

His Unrelenting Love

In the spirit of David, a man after God's heart, I am finding that it is God that is after man's heart. And He won't relent until He has it all.

God sent His Son Jesus to pay the price, to justify and redeem us back to Himself, and then He sent His Holy Spirit to indwell in us, to teach and guide and empower us to live in Him. But in this hour, in His unrelenting love, He is pouring out His Spirit as never before just as He spoke through the prophet in Joel 2:28 "And it will come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy." Even this day He is pouring out His Spirit in waves unprecedentedly to draw His people back to His heart, back into His arms of love.
Father God is wanting our hearts, all of it, all of us. And He won't relent until He has it all. We are going to see prodigals come home, son's and daughters that we have been praying for. They are going to get swept into His heart by this wave and outpouring of His Spirit. Their eyes are going to finally be open. Their ears are going to be unstopped. Their hearts are going to be softened and tenderized by His Spirit, and they are going to turn and run back to the Father, back into His arms of love that are waiting and wide open for them. And we're going to find in ourselves those things that used to seem so important, that preoccupied our time and attention, are fading away. They are no longer important, because we have found our heart's desire. We have found what we were created for, and that is to love and commune with the Father God Himself, to walk with Him and to love the things that He loves. We have re-prioritized and realigned our hearts and lives with His.

So don't resist the Father's lovesick heart any longer. Yield to His drawing. Turn and run hard into His arms of love. They are waiting for you. His heart is burning with love for you. You are His beloved, and He is yours. 

His Jealous Heart

I heard the Lord say:

"I remember the devotion of your youth, when you were running hard after Me, when your heart was on fire for Me, when I was your portion, when every hour and every thought was consumed in Me.  I remember those times. And they brought Me great joy. Our hearts were so connected.  But then, as you followed Me into the wilderness where I would test you and mature you, you began to exchange the glory for that which does not profit.  In the pressures and challenges of the wilderness, you began to lose eye contact with Me, and you let your eyes be taken captive by the surrounding circumstances. In your distraction you became weak and you forsook Me, the fountain of living waters, and you began to hew for yourself cisterns, broken cisterns that could hold no water.  You began to find other lovers, ones that you gave your time and attention to, ones that caused your heart to be dull and unresponsive to Me.

But My heart became jealous for you, and I could not hold back any longer. In the passionate fire of My love for you, I came running after you.  I sought after you and took you back as My own.  I released My fire and consumed My enemies, those lovers that had robbed Me of the heart of My precious beloved.  I could wait no longer. I was jealous for your heart, and My jealous love for you burned within Me. And now I refuse to let you go again, so I am setting your heart ablaze with My love. And together our hearts will be one, flaming with the Father's love for the world. And we will go into the highways and the byways, we will go into neighborhoods and nations, and we will bring many into the kingdom. We will shine our light and release His love, and many will see and hear and believe."


Thank You, Lord, for this word. Thank You for Your fire that is consuming us. Thank Your for Your jealous love for us, for Your bride, Your beloved. Thank You that Your love that is unrelenting, that You never let us go, that You pursue us with an everlasting love. Thank You for consuming us in the fire of Your love and for taking us with You to touch this world and bring many into Your kingdom. Amen

All Consuming Fire

 

"All consuming fire, You're our heart's desire.

Living Flame of Love, come baptize us, come baptize us."

Baptize the heart of Your bride, Jesus.

Cause her heart to burn with holy fire and passion for You.

Let us fall more in love with You.

"He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."

Let the Fire Fall

The Church is sick and in need of God alone,

and we must seek His face.

Let the fire fall, let the wind blow, let the glory come down.

For the Sake of His Holy Name

"Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God, "It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went. And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord," declares the Lord God, "when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances."

Ezekiel 36:22-27

This is what God is doing. He has taken us, a harlot people, a people full of sin and idolatry, a people that has profaned His name, and He has joined Himself with us, and He has married and come into covenant with us. And He says now, not for our sake but for the sake of His Holy name, He is going to vindicate the holiness of His name and prove Himself, and He is going to wash us and cleanse us by His blood and bring us into a new land, a place in the Spirit that is holy and supernatural, a place that the carnal and natural man cannot figure out, but a place where He shows His greatness and proves that He is Lord. Even now He is doing this, and He's taking out our old hearts of stone and putting in a new heart of flesh, ones that are soft, pliable, compassionate and yielded to Him, ones that love Him and loves what He loves, and He's putting in His desires and His passions in us. And He's bringing us into this new place of the Spirit to prove Himself in and through us. In this hour He's pouring out His Spirit and He's going to manifest His power and blessings through us in mighty ways, not because we deserve it, but because He is God and He is Lord and He is King, and He wants His name vindicated among the nations.

God says He's giving us a new heart and putting a new spirit within us. It's HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, His very breath and life. And we will walk in His ways and live according to His ordinances and glorify His holy name. I praise God that He has chosen us and created us to be extensions of Him, of His Son Jesus. Jesus walked in that holiness and in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and now we are to do the same. We are to lay our lives down and receive His life, the life of the Spirit that walks and lives with the heart of God, a heart of mercy and compassion and of righteousness and truth.

Lord, we receive what You are doing. We are Yours and You are ours. Your name is to be vindicated. Do in us what needs to be done that You may be glorified among the nations. Take out our stoney hearts and put in Your heart of flesh. Put Your Spirit in us and pour out the fullness of that Spirit, the oil and anointing of it, so that we might walk in righteousness, truth and holiness, and so that we might glorify Your name among the nations. Amen

Burn in Me

Burn in me Holy Spirit.

Consume me.

Burn up all the chaff and cause me to burn with holy fire.
