His Indescribable Love

"And there I will meet with you,
and I will speak with you from above
the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim
which are on the ark of the Testimony, about
everything which I will give you in commandment
to the children of Israel."
Exodus 25:22

I love living in the Father's house. I love having access to His heart.
One day I shared my heart and my need with Him saying, "Father, I need to know Your love for me, REALLY know Your love. I love You with all my heart, with all my mind and with all my soul, but I really need to know YOUR love for me. Reveal Your love to me, Father I pray, in a deeper and fresher way."

As I spoke these words the Father looked at me with His gentle eyes, and then He took my hand and led me back into a small enclosed room where the mercy seat was located. It was a holy place. It was an intimate place, a place hidden away from the busyness of the banquet room of His celebration. And as we stood there together looking at the mercy seat, He stepped on one side of it as I stood on the other.....and then He held both His hands out and down toward the mercy seat and He said, "This is My love for you. My Son's blood lays upon this seat as a sign and testament of My love for you. His blood was poured out for you because of MY LOVE for you. He demonstrated My love for you with His very life. My love for you flows over this mercy seat and into your life through the Spirit of My Son Jesus that lives IN you and by His blood that runs through your very veins. My daughter, because of what Jesus did for Me and for you so that you would be reunited back into right relationship with Me and so that we could have this personal and intimate relationship together, and because you have received this gift by faith, it's no longer you that's living anymore, but it's My Son Jesus that's living in you and through you.  And because of His blood that was poured out for you, you now have access into all of My kingdom, into all My power and riches. Now everything that is Mine is yours. I hold nothing back from you, but I give you access to all of My kingdom. It's your inheritance. It's yours for the receiving whenever you reach for it. And because of Jesus My power, My wisdom, My favor, and My divine health and wealth is at your very disposal. There is no greater way that I can show and express My love to you than to show and remind you of what it took to have this place together. Jesus gave His life....and I gave My Son. This mercy seat is precious to Me. It's a constant and eternal reminder to Me of the price that was paid so that we could be together as one. My heart longs for all My family to know this love. Many times, like yourself, they need to be reminded and brought back to this place. When you see and feel the testimony of My love for you through this blood poured out on this mercy seat for you, it is beyond even My words. My heart of love lies upon this altar crying out to you and to My family to receive and come back to Me. It's the longing of My heart. So my daughter....stay here awhile and just look upon this expression of My love, and just let the Holy Spirit reveal this love to you in a deeper and fresher way. Feel the depth of My love for you as you stay here, and just ponder it awhile. Know I love you as no one else can. You are My precious possession, My pearl of great price, My treasure, the apple of My eye, and I love you with an everlasting love."

Hear God's Heart

As the Holy Spirit led us through worship this morning with "Magnificent God" and then into this song "All Honor All Glory" the Lord began to speak to me.......He said, "When you worship you invoke My presence and I come and enthrone Myself upon your praises, and I bring My power, I bring My anointing, and I empower you with My anointing to do any and all that I have called you to do. Worship Me more in spirit and in truth.....love Me with your whole heart and I will come and fill your life and your heart with all of Me. Everything you need is IN Me. Worship and love Me more."
Then the message that came forth from our pastor confirmed these words that He was speaking to me.

Although I could never share the message with the fullness of the anointing that was on it, the heart and essence of that message was: What is it that God wants most?.......it's not our serving, it's not our evangelizing, it's not our preaching and teaching of His Word....although all of these are good and necessary. But what God wants most and is looking for is for us to LOVE Him.......it's answered in two scriptures: Matthew 22:37 and John 4:23.

In Matthew 22:37 Jesus answers the Pharisee that had the question "What is the greatest commandment of the Law?"  In other words, "What is the greatest of all the commandments?"  Jesus answered by saying, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."  This was God's heart. It was not a stern commandment, but God was unlocking His heart through Jesus and telling us what He really wanted. He was saying, "THIS is what I want most......I want you to love Me."  God is looking for someone to love Him, to truly love Him. It's the longing of His heart. Our worship shows and speaks our love and devotion to Him. It opens our hearts to lavish that love upon Him. When we worship we go deeper into that expression of love than our praises speak......Simply put, praise says, "Thank You" and worship says, "I love You."  Worship from a heart of devotion and love speaks volumes to God as we lay all our cares and agendas down to focus on Him, to love Him with all our heart, and to lift Him on high with our worship.

God tells us that He's looking for worshipers. Jesus speaks and shares this through the heart of the Father in John 4:23 when he is speaking to the woman at the well. He says, "But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers." It's God's heart......He's gathering worshipers. He's looking for those that will love Him, those that will abandon themselves with all their heart, with all of their soul and with all of their mind, and express their love through their sincere and focused worship. God wants it all, hearts of love and devotion to the Father, to the One that created us, to the One that continually loves us and forgives us, and to the One that gave His only Son for us so that we could be reinstated back into right relationship as the family of God. God is truly worthy and deserves our worship, our passionate, heart felt and abandoned worship.

Help us Father, to lay it all down, to give You our hearts fully and with reckless abandonment, to hold nothing back but to give our hearts, our lives and our devotion to You through our worship. Set Your Church and Bride free from all restraints and come with Your holy fire. Holy Spirit.....we wait on You.....for Fire, for Holy Fire.

God's Dream

When you give yourself to God,
your life becomes a seed that He sows
into the earth for His Kingdom purpose.

God has a dream........a dream that His Kingdom would come into the earth as it is in heaven. When we give our life to God, our life becomes a seed that He sows back into the earth for His Kingdom purpose to be revealed in us.

The Lord began to reveal this revelation to me in a greater degree and depth over the last few days as He showed me a life and seed that He had planted in the earth with His dream planted in that life. God was showing me that He had a dream to have a house where He could come and be with His family, where He could be with His children, and pour into their lives and manifest His presence and power and glory and reveal His goodness to them. He planted this dream with His Word into this man's life. He said, "Where is the house that you will build for Me? And where will My resting place be?" (Is 66:1) This house that God was dreaming about wasn't one filled with programs and the busyness of church work, or filled with meetings and classes to attend that would minister to the needs and issues of His children, but it was a house that was built for HIM to come and just BE with His children and manifest His presence to us in peace and power and in all His glory.
This dream of His became more real to me last night at service as He unfolded His heart to me in response to our pastor's invitation to bring our tithes and offerings to the altar during a high time in the Spirit that we were in. He shared with us about "sowing up", sowing "into the Spirit", sowing "where we wanted to go", and that yes we sowed our seeds for the needy (there would always be the poor), but how important it was to "sow up". I understood about the Spirit and that all that we needed and wanted was IN the Spirit, but I wasn't quite clear on what God was speaking to me about this. So as I took my seed and planted it at the altar, lifting it up for His blessing to multiply and increase it as He did the loaves and the fishes and then went back to my seat, the Lord brought me to my knees in a place of prayer and intimacy with Him as the worship team ministered to us through the Revelation Song. This is where the Lord began to unfold His heart to me. He began to show me that as we "sowed up" that we were sowing into HIS DREAM, and this made Him smile, this really blessed Him. (I could see Him smiling in the Spirit)  He was showing me that we were sowing past our own selves, past our own dreams, and we were reaching for HIS dream, we were putting Him and His ways first and showing that we believed in His dream and wanted to see it manifested in the earth. He began to speak to me about His love and His desire to fulfill the dreams that He had placed in us, but how they were attached to His. He said, "Your dreams are part of My dream.......all of their dreams are (referring to the congregation). But when you "sow up" into My dream, then I make YOUR dreams come true, because when My dream is manifest and I can have a house that I can come into and be with My people, then I bring all heaven with Me. You see, when I come I bring all of My power and all of My prosperity with Me. Everything in your dream will be made possible when My dream is fulfilled."
This really spoke to me and showed me that when we "sowed up" into God's dream it went past the "bring your whole tithe and offering into the storehouse so that there is food enough in My house, and I will open up for you the window of heaven and pour out on you a blessing that there is not room enough to receive it" and it went past the "bless My house and I will bless yours" words......it went straight to the heart and pure dream of God Himself to come and BE with His people and manifest His presence and glory in that House. He really wanted a house of His presence, a house built for HIM where miracles and manifestations of His power and presence would be revealed. I was SO feeling His heart with this, and He was SO wanting us to know it.

So I share all of this with you as I help to water the seed of this Word that was planted in the life of my precious pastor and that has been sown into the earth for the Dream of God to come into the earth and be made manifest. It's God's dream house, the house that He's always wanted. The Father's heart truly has His children's heart in His, and when we make His heart and His dream our priority, He makes our dreams His priority.

"Where is the house that you will build Me?
And where is the place of My rest?"
Isaiah 66:1

Give Yourself Away

Lord,
Take my heart,
take my life as a living sacrifice.
All my dreams, all my plans,
Lord, I place them in Your hands.
I give myself away....
So You can use me.

My life is not my own....to You I belong.
I give myself, I give myself to You.

Prayer, Giving & Debt Cancelation

"God so loved the world that
He gave....."
John 3:16

As I live in the Father's house feasting at His table and learning His ways, waiting upon His perfect timing of His blessing and grant, there were some truths that I needed to grow in so that I could live the life and be the conduit of blessing that God desired of me. An area that the Father was working with me on was my giving and my learning to trust Him so that I could be the generous and committed giver that would honor and glorify Him. He had been teaching me good stewardship and management, but He was wanting to stretch me into a new level of giving and blessing. He wanted me trusting Him that when I gave He would give back to me even more so that I could continue to flow in this generosity that He had placed in me. He was teaching me His principle of The Law of Resupply, and that I first needed to empty "the gift card" before He would resupply it. There were promises that the Father had me feed on and get into my spirit, so I would understand and walk in confidence in this area of giving. He was making me a Sower, sowing seeds of blessings, financially and spiritually. He said in His Word that He loved "a cheerful giver" and that He would supply seed to the sower and bread for food, and that He would supply and multiply my seed for sowing and increase the fruits of my righteousness. He said that He would cause all grace to abound to me that having sufficiency in all things that I would have an abundance for every good work, and that He would make me rich in every way so that I could be generous at every occasion, and that through my generosity it would cause others to give thanksgiving to God. (2 Cor 9:7,8,10,11) I needed to get this in my heart and spirit and trust Him to supply and bless me as I gave cheerfully and generously at His leading. Sometimes my budget didn't show the abundance supply for that giving, but as He brought needs into my path, He encouraged me and stretched me to trust Him that as I gave to that need that He would take care of the budget and meet my needs as well, learning that I couldn't out give God. He said, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight." (Prov 3:5-6) So I was determined that I was going to trust Him.

I had received revelation that there was no lack in my house, because in the Spirit I lived and dwelt in the Father's house in heaven, and I knew that there was no lack in His house, but that there was an unlimited supply of wealth and resources to draw from as His child living in His house. So I began to put this revelation to the test and give with increased faith in the Father and His promises and the Principle of Resupply. He said, "Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." (Luke 6:38)  He said, Ask, seek and knock, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matt 7:7) So I decided I was going to give, and I was going ask, seek and knock on the door of His heart, trusting Him to resupply my "gift card" so that I could continue to give as He was leading my heart to give, and that as I gave I would watch Him resupply. The Father also impressed on me that as I gave to lift up my seed to Him and ask Him to multiply it like He did with Jesus and the loaves and the fishes, stretching it supernaturally and making it go supernaturally further than it ever would be able to go in the natural. So I began to do this. I wanted to truly partner with a supernatural God to do supernatural things and see Him glorified through my giving and faith in a supernatural way. The Father gave me opportunities, and I committed to Him and to myself to take them and give Him the opportunity to show up and show off. So as I did, He did......my Father was faithful and began to show me that His Word was true and that I could trust Him as I stepped out of the boat and onto the water. I honestly blew the budget and just gave as the need arose and as He impressed on me to give, seeding something into each opportunity. And with each step of obedience my faith grew stronger.

One of my first opportunities came as our budget got really squeezed to make room for a car payment for a new/used car as my husband's car got wrecked in a car accident that weekend. (Praise God he wasn't hurt) My husband's car being almost 20 yrs old was ready for its eternal rest. He had been resuscitating it for years determined not have a car payment, but now we knew it was time we were going to have to put it to rest and replace it. So we squeezed our already tight budget and made a way to make it possible and then together said "Let's go".  Bless the Lord....immediately after this decision is when several pressing financial needs came across my path from others. I said, "Ok, Lord, this seems like the best time to put Your promises to the test, so let's do this. I will give, and You take care of the budget. You said You would get it to me if You could get it through me. So I am going to make a way so You to get it through me. I am going to send these seeds off in faith, asking and trusting that You will bless them and multiply them and resupply them so I can not only take care of their needs, but that I can take care of our needs as well."
Well before He had time to resupply I begin to think about something.......I said, "Lord, I would much rather give this money that's going out for this car payment to others in need rather than make payments to the bank, in fact if we were debt-free and didn't have any loans or debts payments to pay on each month, think of how many people we could help with that money". So having taken this to the Lord and truly receiving the heart of the Lord on it, I went to the Father to petition Him.  I said, "Father, I come boldly to Your throne of grace to receive mercy and to obtain grace in my time of need. Father, You said, 'Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you.' So, I have come to ask, seek and knock. Father, I have come to You to ask for a blessing, for Your Anointing, for a portion of my inheritance. Father, You are LOVE, and You so loved the world that You gave Your most precious possession, Your only Son Jesus, to save the world, to bring everyone that would believe in Him back into right relationship with You again. And Father, as I have received Jesus and given my life to Him, He has lived His life through me through His Holy Spirit, changing my heart, teaching me His ways and changing me into His image, and I now share Your heart of love for this world as well.  Father, Your heart of love for others is in me, and it's my desire to help them, to see them set free from the bondages of this world, to see them free from debt and living lives that glorify You and that are free to help others themselves. Father, I want to plant seeds in people and move mountains. I want You to live BIG in me! So, Father, I lift up this debt of mine to You, these loans and credit card debts that we have accumulated, and I ask You to bless them and wipe them away, blessing us with debt freedom so that we can be a blessing to others, and so that we can help them know and experience Your love as they come and live in Your house and receive the benefits of their inheritance as children of God. Father, I ask that You release a portion of my inheritance to me and guide me in helping others to be free from debt and be a good steward in their giving and financial management. I ask You to anoint me to be a channel of Your blessing and an expression of Your heart of love and mercy to this desperate world. Father, this world is in such dire need of seeing the power and love of a gracious and forgiving God that loves them. So, Father, here is my debt.....I lift it up to You. Everything that is mine is Yours, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And I ask for an exchange for all that is Yours to bless all that is mine, so that all that I have may glorify You and advance Your Kingdom. I thank You, Father, for the supernatural power of Your love and grace. I thank You for loving me, for redeeming me and for bringing me into Your house to live as a daughter of the Most High God. I thank You for using me to flow Your life and love through and for taking this broken and imperfect vessel and using it to make a difference in this world. Thank You, Father, for Your love, Your grace, Your faithfulness and Your Anointing. And Father, I ask all of this in the Name of Your Son, Jesus."

As the Father listened to my petition He smiled. And when I was finished He took my hand and He led me into another room. It was a Board room, a room with a large executive table with many chairs around it. We sat down together and He began to pour out His heart to me. He said that He had been waiting for this day, that He had created me for this purpose and prepared me for this time so that He may work this work through me. He said it truly was His desire and heart to see His children free from their debt, to see them living in the freedom and inheritance that was theirs as His children. He said He wanted to set up a family business, to channel His blessings and inheritance to His children and show them His love and mercy and the grace that His Son Jesus purchased for them. He said we would do this together, that if I would just listen to His voice and stay close to His heart that He would guide and navigate me through each step and that I would not have to worry about anything, because it would be a work and business that we would do TOGETHER as a family. He would supply all that I needed to carry out its success, the wisdom, the finances, the help and support, and anything and everything that I needed along the way, and all I would have to do was come to Him and ask and He would help me........Wow....I was blown away. The things that the Father was speaking to me were things that He had placed in my heart and spirit years ago, and now He was telling me it was time to do them.....I was speechless and felt very inadequate, but inside my spirit was saying "Yes, I'm ready! Let's do it!" So looking to Him I said, "Thank You, Father, for this assignment and for this privilege to serve You in the Kingdom. I receive it and step into it through the power of Your Son Jesus. Together we will be about the Father's Family Business and see many lives changed and brought into the Kingdom." I took the Father's hand and He squeezed mine and released His power and Anointing to do this work, and He said, "I am giving you the ability to create wealth so that I may establish My covenant in you." We embraced, and I felt His heart of love, and then we walked back into the banqueting hall together where He invited me to sit beside Him as He sat down on His throne of grace.

Wow....what an experience.....amazing grace.

The next day someone asked me out of the blue, "Connie, what do you want?" But the person went on to something else before I even had a chance to answer, which was good, because I'm not sure I had an answer for him right then. But the question made me really think about what I DID want. As I spent some time in thought and prayer on that question later, many things raced through my mind, especially concerning my family and children with the many desires and prayer petitions that I had in my heart and had desired to see God do, but knowing that if I would "seek first the kingdom of God, all these things would be added" to me. So my answer was: I wanted to fulfill the assignment that the Father had spoken to me. I wanted to fulfill my destiny. I wanted the power and Anointing of God to destroy debt and release prosperity into the hands of His Bride. I wanted to move mountains. I wanted to change people's lives by the power of God's love and the supernatural increase that results from the release of that Anointing and my giving. That's what I wanted and that's what I had asked the Father for. (The thing is, He knew my heart and He knew my thoughts already for He had made me for this before I was even born. Ps 139:1-16)
So at night before I went to bed and in the morning when I woke up, I began to lay my hands upon our bills and our debt and pray in the Spirit releasing the river of God on the inside of me to flow over them. "Everywhere that the river goes shall live." (Ez 47:9) I was releasing the power of the Holy Spirit to heal our finances, to bring life to them and cause them to prosper. I was releasing the supernatural power of God through the power of His Holy Spirit. My eyes were on the Father as I received the Anointing by faith and as I looked to Him for the manifestation of His power and miracle upon our finances, thanking Him for His love and His mercy and grace and for His kingdom coming into our finances drawing upon the truth and revelation that 2000 years ago Jesus took our debt and all the decrees that were hostile against us and He nailed them to the cross, paying our debt and disarming rulers and authorities, and He made a public display out of them as He triumphed over them at the cross.          (Col 2:14,15) As I prayed in the Spirit His kingdom and this manifestation was being released over our finances.

A few nights later as the river of God was flowing and I was having a wonderful prayer time praying in my understanding and in the Spirit, Jesus walked into my prayer time, and He said,  "Connie, it's not you living anymore, it's Me, Jesus, living in and through you. I am living in you and through you and in everything you do." And He proceeded to tell me what He was going to be doing through me. He said, "I'm going to heal through you. I'm going to break yokes and chains and addictions through you. I'm going to open blind eyes and deaf ears through you. I'm going to cause the lame to walk and the dead to rise and live again through you. I'm going to break debt and release prosperity through you.'   Then He took my bills and debt that I had listed and totaled and bundled together that was laying there on the table, and He said, "Connie, I took these to the cross with Me 2000 years ago, and I paid for them in full with My life and with My blood. I atoned for them." He held them up to His heart and chest and said, "I took from you what you deserved and I gave you mercy. In exchange for them I gave you debt-freedom and prosperity." And He flipped the bundle over and wrote PROSPERITY and DEBT FREEDOM on the back of it. Then He said, "See it tonight and receive it. It's yours."

It became reality to me that night. His tangible presence and anointing was there. I saw clearly what Jesus had done for me. He had given me mercy and released grace. He took and withheld what I deserved, which was being yoked with the weight of debt and working a lifetime paying it off, and He gave me mercy and grace, which I didn't deserve. He blessed me with the grace of Debt Freedom and Prosperity. It was mine right then. I just needed to receive it and take it by faith.
So I did.  I took it, receiving it by faith and began thanking Him for it and living in the reality of it, first in the reality that it was not I that was living anymore, but that it was Jesus that was living in and through me, that He had taken my life and all that it included (the good, the bad, and the ugly), and He had given me a new, redeemed, born-again, life of freedom in and through Him. THAT was something to celebrate right there.
I tucked the bundle of bills and debt back into my notebook, continuing to pay on them as they were due, and during my prayer times in the days ahead I would take them out and hold them to my heart and chest as I saw Jesus do that night, embracing the revelation, and I would praise Him and thank Him for what He had done, not only for me but for all of us. He had paid the price for our debt. He had paid the price for our healing. He had paid the price for our deliverance and freedom in every area of our life. I expressed my gratitude for the reality of His grace and mercy. I knew the grace, truth and reality of His atonement would manifest as I received it in faith and walked it out with Him. His love had set me free and brought forth a fountain of thanksgiving within me. He had lifted the burden, and His river of life, gratitude, and blessing was flowing!

Jesus made it real to me that night. I thank Him for this experience and revelation and for the reality of what He did for me, and what He's done for you. It's ours for the taking, and it's ours for the sharing and revealing to others.
God is a faithful and will do supernatural things when we believe and trust in Him, and when we praise Him with hearts of gratitude before we even see the manifestation of it.

So, I invite you to step into this Grace of Giving, to trust God at a new level of faith and see the Father's hand of blessing upon your life and your family as you do so. I invite you to draw upon this revelation of what Jesus did for you 2000 years ago and apply it to every area of your life.
God is faithful.  He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. God says, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all of your heart." (Jer 29:13)

The Secret Place with Jesus

My feet are on this earth, but my spirit lives in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
In the Father's house there's a "secret place" that I go to with Jesus. It's at the top of a high tower that has a large open window that overlooks the valley below. It's where I go often in the Spirit to pray and to feel His heart. It was in this place that I was with Jesus one evening feeling the pain and grievance of His heart as He looked out over the multitudes in the valley below in their condition of poverty and lack, seeing and feeling how they were living in conditions that were far below what He had purchased for them. I felt Him reaching down with His heart and pulling them up into His. He was broken in heart and could hardly look out the window as He grieved over their condition and situation. He had given His life for them that they would not live like this but that they would live in their kingdom inheritance.
My heart grieved with Him, and sobbing I thought, "O Jesus, what can I do? What do You want me to do? You gave Your life for them. You paid the price in full for their deliverance and redemption to come back into the Father's house and back into His hand of blessing. O Jesus, what can I do? There's nothing left that You can do. You have paid the ultimate price. You've made a way for them to come back. What do You want me to do as Your vessel to show them the way that You have made for them?".........He said gently, "Be My voice. Just tell them the truth. Point them to Me, and release My power and love through your life of giving."

I looked out the window, and I felt His broken heart again as I saw the people and pondered the situation. It was overwhelming to me........then I saw something that caught my eye and attention and began to share what He had placed in my heart years ago.  I said, "Jesus, see that tiny nugget down there? (pointing to the lottery) Well it doesn't look like much from here, but it's big in the earth's economy. The Father created it. He said, "All things have been created by Him and for Him for His good pleasure." .....If the Father would get that to me, I would set up a Trust fund with it, a "Trust in the Lord" fund, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we would make a roadway in the wilderness for these people, a roadway in the wilderness for them to know and experience You through by the avenues of our giving. We would make rivers of blessing and refreshing in their desert that would let them drink of Your presence so that they could come to know You in fresh and new ways. And by the power of Your Spirit within us they would be drawn to You and follow the path that You have created and illuminated for them by Your Word. We would help them to learn good stewardship of the money and blessings that You have entrusted to them. I would like to do this, Jesus. I would like to present this suggestion to the Father."  Then I said, "Jesus, I didn't chose You, but You chose me and You appointed me that I should go and bear fruit, and that my fruit should remain, and You said that whatever I asked the Father in Your name He would do it for me so that You would be glorified. So I am going to go to the Father and ask Him this."

So I did. I went to the Father and said, "Father, I come humbly but boldly to You in the name of Your Son Jesus, and I ask You to bless me through this vehicle of the lottery. I would like something tangible that I can use to touch the people with. I would like to use this lottery to set up a Trust fund in the name of Your Son Jesus for this family business that You have spoken to me about. I would like to use it to create avenues of blessings that will express Your love and point people to Jesus and that would connect them to His heart. Father, this lottery is not much in comparison to the riches of Your glory, but it will BE part of Your glory when You breathe on it, because it's something that has been created by You and for You for Your good pleasure, and others can be touched and come to know Your love and generosity through it. It's something in this earth's economy that can be used for Your good, and can release Your hand of blessing, and that can help many people experience Your love and faithfulness in their desperate situations. It can be used to teach good stewardship and how to be good managers of the blessings that You have entrusted to them. So Father, I ask You to bless me with it. I am making an application today for this Grant from the riches of Your glory to be released into my hands. Father, I ask You along with this to grant me out of Your innermost treasury of Your glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power through Your Spirit in my inner man. I ask You to anoint me and empower me, Father, to share Your love and grace through the knowledge of Jesus and what He has done for them.......So Father, I thank You for hearing my heart and for meeting my need."
The Father smiled.....Then I went out with joy and was led forth with peace, knowing that He had heard me and that He would grant my request.  Jesus had told me a few days before that "mountain moving faith was going to the Father and telling Him your need, and then going out with joy and being led forth with peace, trusting and knowing that what you asked, He would do, having childlike faith." Jesus was encouraging me and referring me to His Word in Isaiah 55:12
"For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace;
the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy
before you, and all the trees will clap their hands."

Feasting at the Table of Blessing

"One thing I have desired, that will I seek,
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days
of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in His temple."
Psalm 27:4

As I spend time in God's presence and dwell in His house, these are some of the exciting truths I have discovered and have been scooping up onto my plate to feast upon at the banqueting table in the celebration hall of the Father's house. Our God has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies and invites us to come and dine, feast, and celebrate with Him. (Ps 23:5) There is SO MUCH revelation at this table as we feast upon His blessings.

#1  In my house I have discovered there is NO LACK, because I am a child of God living and dwelling in HIS HOUSE. Wealth and riches are in my house, because I am now living in HIS house. He has called me, and I have come through the blood of Jesus, washed from my sins and restored into right relationship with my Father, and learning to be a good manager and steward of His blessings and resources. His house is the place (the home of the Spirit) that I live in and draw upon His anointing and bring His presence and riches into my home. I live and dwell there now, and all that is His is mine to partake of, and everything that I have, I have given to Him. When I give it to Him He places His hand of blessing upon it so that it will now glorify Him. The Father wants everything in my life to glorify Him, and as I discover new places and things in my life to hand over to Him, He blesses them and releases His anointing upon them to restore and turn them around for His glory. Our Father is such a good and faithful God and a God of restoration. He knows just how to fix and restore and work all things together for our good when we turn our heart fully towards Him. Things that we can't fix and that we have messed up, He takes and does miraculous things to through His power and grace. I am amazed.....every time.
(Jer 30:17; Joel 2:25-26; Ps 51:12; Acts 3:19-21)

#2  Another truth that I have been feasting on is that we ARE HEALED......already! We just have to receive it and go get it with our faith.  Jesus paid the price for our healing with His blood. He took our sickness and disease to the cross and purchased our healing 2000 years ago.  (Is 53:5, 1 Pet 2:24) The Father was trying to give me a simple analogy of this as I feasted on this truth. He said, "It's kinda like this. What if you went online and purchased something for someone, maybe like a garment, and it was delivered to that particular store that you ordered it from. Now, know it has been purchased for them already, and it's now theirs, but they've got to pick it up. They have to claim it and receive it. It's already paid for, already registered in their name and is officially theirs, but they have got to make the effort to go get it, to take possession of it." And then He said, "But understand that sometimes they are too weak to go get it themselves, so you may have to go receive and pick it up for them and deliver it to them, maybe even help them put it on and see how good it looks on them. Sometimes people just need someone that cares enough to make the sacrifice and effort to go get what's been purchased for them already and help them receive it fully." He was trying to show me our place as a friend (intercessor) and "delivery boy" for their gift that's been purchased for them and officially belongs to them, and how to take what was theirs and just deliver and release it to them.

O this food is SO GOOD! Feasting on God's truths at His table of blessings is amazing! Things that our circumstances and that we have let others (non-believers or misled believers) tell us have built up mindsets and strongholds in our mind, but our Father God wants to tear those old mindsets and strongholds down with the truths of His kingdom that belongs to us as His children. He wants us to know, believe, and live in these truths as we walk out each day and face these circumstances and situations everyday. Our daily feasting at His table with His Word strengthens us, empowers us, and renews our mind to have the true mind of Christ and walk in the power and victory that is ours through our lives hidden in Christ.
So I invite you today to come and feast at the table of blessing and abundance that He has prepared before you, and take your position at His side. He says you will rule and reign with Him as you partake of this table that He has prepared before you even in the presence of your enemies, even in the stormy situation that you are walking through. Come and Feast!!

"You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies."

God's House Has Many Rooms

"There I will meet with you; and from above
the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim
which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will
speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment
for the sons of Israel."
Exodus 25:22

I believe the Lord wants me to share with you an experience I had recently with Him in prayer.

The other morning as I awoke I was immediately in the Spirit in the banqueting hall of the Father's house at the celebration feast that He had prepared and invited everyone to. There were many, many people there and there was a joy and excitement in the air as everyone enjoyed the feast at His table and the fellowship of others that were there. As I mingled amongst the crowd I had a personal need of a person on my heart and in my mind. I walked up to the Father as He sat upon the throne, and I shared this need with Him. He motioned to me to follow Him, and as He got up He led me into a back room. It was the room where the Mercy Seat was. There in that place by the Mercy Seat He asked me to share my heart and need with Him again, and I did......then He shared His. It was all about His desire for this person's heart and the hearts of the people in the earth. He showed me that though He didn't cause these situations, He was using the things and situations that confront them to draw them to Himself and to their need and dependance upon Him. I reminded Him of His Word that it was His goodness that leads men to repentance, and asked Him for His mercy and goodness to be released that they may know His love for them. Then I saw Him smile and nod His head in agreement......then I said, "Thank You, Father," and we turned and walked back into the banqueting hall together.

I praise God for this experience and that He is a merciful God, that He has mercy for us as grafted in sons and daughters of Israel, and that He will personally share His heart with us as we meet Him at the Mercy Seat. I praise God that through this experience He is showing us His heart of celebration in His house but also the intimate and personal place of His heart in the place of the Mercy Seat. I praise God that in His house there are many dwelling places and He has gone and prepared a place for us there. He has prepared a place of feasting and celebration where He has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies, and He has prepared an place of an intimate room of His mercy where He shares His heart and where we can share ours. I praise God that He is in touch with our needs and with this world's situation, and He is drawing us up into His house and heart and into His presence to BE with Him and feast upon His goodness and grace and mercy. Our Father HAS prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies and He is drawing us up higher out of the realm of the natural where our soul, mind, will and emotions are, and into the realm of the Spirit where we feast upon the goodness of what is ours as children of God. He has MUCH to give us and He will pour out this mercy as we petition and partner with Him for it for others. Thank You, Father! Thank You for Your mercy on the people and on my life. Thank You for Your mercy on the sons and daughters of God and for Your mercy on those that don't yet know that they ARE the sons and daughters of the Most High God. Thank You, Father, for drawing us into the intimate and personal place of the Mercy Seat to connect at the heart and come into agreement for Your will to be done here in the earth. Thank You, Father, for the partnership of Your love and for Your kingdom power being released upon the earth. Fill us with Your grace, Your goodness and Your mercy that we may glorify You and reveal Jesus in the earth. Thank You Father. You are such an incredible FATHER and we love you SO MUCH! Amen

It's Time to Celebrate!

I keep hearing and feeling this in my spirit, "It's time to celebrate! It's time to celebrate! Come up higher! Come into the Father's house and celebrate!" I SO feel the heart of the Father calling and drawing His children into His house to come and celebrate with Him. The preparations have been made. Everything is ready. He has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies. In His house are many dwelling places, and one of these dwelling places is a huge banqueting hall with a long table full of spiritual food, full of gifts, full of blessings that He has set and prepared for us to come and feast upon and celebrate with Him. I SO feel His heart and His desire to celebrate with us, to celebrate with His children in this hour of desperation upon the earth, for He has MUCH to give us and MUCH to bestow upon us, for the whole earth is groaning for the manifestations of the sons and daughters of God. The Father is wanting to give us gifts and anointings that will manifest His goodness and glory. He is wanting to clothe us in His righteousness and royalty. He is wanting to deliver to us the authority and anointing of our inheritance in Him. O, how I feel His joy and excitement and anticipation of our attendance. He has waited for this hour. He has made great preparations and prepared great things for this hour of His celebration. He is calling us. He is drawing us. He will not be denied this celebration. If we do not respond He will send out for others to take our place to receive His blessing. O what a sorrow that would be for us to miss the Father's blessing. His desire is to release His joy and life and kingdom blessings upon us.
Come people! Come to the house of God! Receive and respond to His invitation! Come and feast at the table of blessing that He has set before us in the very presence of our enemies. Come and let God make a public display of His victory over our enemies. Let Him show forth His glory in and through us in this hour. COME! Say "YES", and COME!!

"Blessed are those who are invited
to the marriage supper of the Lamb."
Rev 19:9

O Father, we thank You, we worship You, we glorify Your holy name. We thank You for this invitation. We say "YES" and we come and celebrate with You! We enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. We come and we take our place at Your banqueting table. We take our position at Your side. We receive from You ALL that You have for us. We thank You, Father, for Your bountiful blessings. We thank You for bestowing upon us Your mercy and Your grace and Your abundant blessings and inheritance upon our lives. We thank You for drawing us, for keeping us, for increasing and multiplying us. We thank You for lavishing upon us Your Spirit, for clothing us in righteousness and in royalty. We thank You for anointing us and laying upon us Your authority that comes from Your name, the name of Jesus, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that You are Lord. O Father we thank You, we thank You, we thank You. We love You, we love You, we love You. We say YES to You, and we COME to You! Hallelujah!

The Kingdom Seed Within You

There's a kingdom seed within each one of us.

As I meditated on that recent word "Seed within a seed" , in the Spirit I saw a seed in the ground trying to push its way up through the earth. This seed was pushing and reaching for the Sun and the Light (Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness, the One that had planted the seed). And as the rain of the Spirit watered it, it began to push through the mound of dirt that covered it, and in my spirit I heard the words that Jesus spoke, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain. 'Move from here to there' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you."  He was showing me that this mound of dirt that covered this seed was like a mountain to this little tiny seed. But this little seed had faith in the One that made it and planted it, and it was reaching for its Creator, the One that planted it with a purpose. And as it focused itself on Him, and reached for Him, and received the watering of His love and Spirit, the power of that life inside of that seed began to break through that mound or mountain of dirt that covered it, and NO mountain of resistance could stop it from breaking forth. The Lord showed me that this mountain in this seed's life represented the resistance of discouragement, disappointment, fear, insecurity, pride, doubt, unbelief and the many other things in our life that try to keep us from moving forward into our destiny.
As I identified with this little kingdom seed pressing through its resistance, I saw and felt it reaching, reaching, reaching, and pushing, pushing, pushing through the resistance, and as it began to break through the mountain of resistance, I heard it say, "I'm breaking through with POWER, PURPOSE and PROVISION!"
It was breaking through to it's victory to produce the life that it was created for!

This kingdom seed within each one of us contains God's power, purpose and provision for all that He has purposed and created us for. And God is wanting to encourage you today to continue to receive the watering of His love and Spirit upon that kingdom seed within you. There is kingdom greatness on the inside of you. God put it there. It is the very life and DNA of God Himself, your Father and Creator. Don't let the world's resistance to your kingdom seed hold you back from pressing through into your purpose. It's not how much faith you have or what kind of faith you have, it's who that faith is focused on. Make sure your faith is focused on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, the One that planted that seed in you and the One that is watering it and reaching for it's greatness to come forth. Identify with that mustard seed faith and tell the mountain to move, because IT WILL MOVE, for "if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain. 'Move from here to there' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you."  (Matthew 17:20)

Have faith and press through like this mustard seed.
Your kingdom come, Lord. Your will be done, here on earth as it is in heaven.

The Unknown Miracle - Intro

God wants His Bride debt-free......not only debt-free financially, but debt-free emotionally, relationally and spiritually. God wants us FREE from all hindrances and all bondages to this world and from all the chains that the enemy shackles us with through his schemes and manipulations. One of the main areas the devil uses so often is offense and unforgiveness. It's his bait to lure us into his trap and shackle us with chains and weights that we were never meant to have. God wants us FREE!
There is an article or chapter from a book that I have recently read called "The Launching Pad". It's a 21 Day Prayer Challenge written by Veridee Hand. I highly recommend it. This chapter titled "The Unknown Miracle" is written on the subject of Forgiveness. It is the most thorough and real article I have ever read on this subject, and it so ministered to me the truths that I knew were God's way and will, that I felt led to type it out and share it with others. As you read through it I believe it will help you to process through areas in your life that the Lord wants to lead you through into the fullness of your healing and freedom. His ways are much higher and better than our ways. He is our wise and loving Father, and if we truly want to know the truth, the truth that sets us free, He will make it known to us. He wants us to grow in His grace of love and reflect His image to the world.

Follow this link The Unknown Miracle as it takes you to the next blog entry of this article, and discover the power of forgiveness. May God richly bless you and bring healing and freedom to every area of your life.

The Unknown Miracle

THE UNKNOWN MIRACLE
by Veridee Hand
from the book:
"The Launching Pad"

Matthew 6:12, "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."  The first time I had a light bulb experience with this gold mine, it messed me up! I began to dig and dig because my mind was blown away by the reality of the prayer.  In the light, the realization came: to the extent that I forgive those who have wronged me, I will be forgiven by those I have wronged. Now I wasn't sure exactly how much debt I had accumulated in wronging others, but I knew I didn't have a clean slate. And what about all those I had wronged unknowingly? I couldn't chance it. I needed to forgive everyone for everything! It was like cleaning the basement--a lot of cobwebs looming over the old hurts, wounds, and offenses of people who had wronged me. It was easy to see the new ones. They had not accumulated as much dust. There were boxes, current and reoccurring hurts, waiting to be put on the shelf. When I looked in the basement of my mind at all the wounds, I couldn't believe how many people I had kept in bondage because I didn't have the understanding of knowing what to do with the hurt. Through this scripture, I began to realize how many relationships had been ruined because I didn't know how to restore the relationship. It wasn't that I didn't know things should not have turned out the way they did, but I didn't know how to bring reconciliation.
A nugget of gold in the mine of forgiving our debtors led me to 2 Corinthians 5:18-19:

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself
through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of
reconciliation, that is that God was in Christ reconciling the
world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and
has committed to us the word of reconciliation."

As I turned the gold nugget of forgiveness in my mind, I began to understand how I could be debt free from those who had wronged me. It would take understanding the ministry of reconciliation. I wanted to be debt free with God and I did not want to be holding any debts from others. I was searching for a miracle, the miracle to forgive and forget. I wanted no strings attached. Since God can blot out our transgressions so He does not remember our sins then there must be a way we can forget the things of those who have sinned against us (Psalms 103:11-12, Isaiah 43:25).
When we have an offense, a hurt, or wound caused by someone, it is our responsibility to operate in the ministry of reconciliation. This ministry is not something we can do in our own power. It takes everything in us that is like God, as well as spending time with our Father, to get what we need to follow through with the ministry of reconciliation. When we can get real with God about the hurt, betrayal, and unbelief concerning how this could have happened, He can get real with us. He listens very carefully. If we remain long enough, He will empower us to forgive, not by our own power, but by His love flowing through us. We don't have enough love to forgive all the people who have hurt us. But God does. We release the outcome of the offense to Him and He loves us more. It is a transfer. We no longer hold the offense because we have given it to Him when we received His love for us. At that moment, His love becomes the healing balm to the hurt. Then He loves us even more and the overflow is what give us the ability to forgive someone before they ask to be forgiven or even know they have wronged us. The offense created between us has been healed and a miracle takes place.
True healing is when even the scar is gone and there is no reminder of the hurt, the offense. We can thing of them or encounter them without any feelings attached to the event, even to the point of not remembering what happened. I know, it sounds too good to be true. But it is a miracle of the heart and mind. I am a living testimony to the ability of God's love. Every time I go to Him first when I have been wronged, He does a miracle in my life. The reason we have to go to Him first is because the more people we involve, the harder it is to forgive, because we end up rehearsing ourselves into a tizzy or rage over and over again. Rehearsing the wrong re-enforces the grip of the offense in our mind and makes it even that much more difficult to forgive, even if they come seeking forgiveness. It also makes it difficult to "save face" and be restored because of all those we have involved. Everyone who has been told will want an explanation. Many will be resistant to the reconciliation. It felt good when we were telling everyone about the wrong because we wanted justification for our hurt, but after reconciliation, the ones we told don't know what to do with the scar we gave them when we sought their loyalty in the offense. We owe them an apology as well--thanking them for listening, but admitting our wrong when we included them in the offense. We may have thought we were seeking them for healing, however, when we want to be healed we have to go to God. The power of God's love is the only thing that breaks the cycle of hurt people hurting people. His love causes people who are hurt to help those who have hurt them through the power of forgiveness.
The power tool of God's forgiveness is operated by one who embraces God's love for themselves. When we receive forgiveness we have been shown how to forgive. Through God's example, we can forgive as well. Many times I will pray, releasing the individual from what they have done to me and even to others they have shared the offense with. It is easy for me to pick up an offense for someone else. I didn't get the nickname Mama Bear for nothing. I would not always be there. They needed the Father. People would come and I would turn them toward the presence of God that they, too, would receive their healing. As much as I wanted to protect and defend the hurt, my Father wanted to reveal Himself as their protector and defender. He would always be with them (Deuteronomy 31:6,8). It is His place to complete the work of His love in their life. Once we have received our Father's love, we are able to ask the Holy Spirit to erase the memory of the offense.
Sometimes the healing is immediate, and yet there are times when the healing comes in a few months. The litmus test to know if we truly used the power tool of forgiveness comes when we see them again. When we respond with putting distance between them and us, then we have not received the overflow of God's love for them. When we avoid them, have nothing to say, or we feel the hurt and anger build, it can only mean one thing: we need more time in God's presence, saturated by His love.
Some offenses cut very deep, or have been going on for years, so it may take more than one time in the presence of God. But don't give up on God; He has what we need. When we know God has our best interest in mind, we can trust Him to take care of the problem (Philippians 1:6; Jeremiah 29:11, 33:3). When we have the Father's perspective, we have the ability to embrace His ways, giving us the opportunity to love beyond reason (Jeremiah 31:3, 1 Thessalonians 2:12).
Forgiveness does not depend on our ability to be strong or see  how much pain we can take; forgiveness depends upon our relationship with the Father. I used to be trapped, thinking it was a matter of my strength, carrying my hurts everywhere I went. Receiving and applying the understanding of the miracle of forgiveness, I was no longer a prisoner shackled by bitterness and hate. Through the love of the Father, I receive the power tool of forgiveness and am able to turn the tide of division back into the sea. When I have forgiven the one who has caused so much pain, I am able to rescue them from the undertow of the tide.
The power tool of forgiveness is amazing. Through the proper use of releasing God's love, it begins to erase, healing the hurt and giving us the ability to love those who have set themselves up to be our enemy. Matthew 5:43-45 says, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy, But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." It is not possible in our power to love our enemies, but in Christ, through God, He makes this possible (Luke 18:27; Matthew 17:20).
Now let's flip the coin to see how we handle using the power tool of forgiveness when we have caused the hurt, offending another. In Matthew 6:12, Jesus is talking about more than money. Most of us understand that we do not want to have debt; we want to have money in our bank account. Any offense causes a debt in our relationship with another and it can only become a credit when we settle accounts His way. His way is not through buying a gift, baking a cake, sending flowers, or masking the offense by falsely being nice the next time we see them. His way of settling accounts is using the power tool of forgiveness.
One time I was so mad at what someone had done that I went to the Father and, boy, I told Him everything! He surely didn't know what they had just done to me or He would have send down fire upon their head. So I made sure He knew the entire situation and my perception of why they did it, who they had involved, what they were doing right now, and anyone else I thought they would tell. This was a sight to see! If my neighbors had known what was going on they would  have had their faces pressed to the window. But God was so gracious. He let me go on and on. He let me come to the end of myself. Then He began fathering me. As His love saturated my being, He revealed that I was at fault. What? I was most surely not at fault! They did....but He reminded me that the way I responded only fueled the fire of their wrong instead of putting the fire out.
When believers operate with the power tool of forgiveness, we respond as firemen, not arsonists. Here He began to reveal the other side of the coin, my part in the offense. If I behaved more like my Father, I would have calmly responded and brought complete reconciliation at that moment. As His daughter He wanted me to turn the tide of what the enemy used to cause division and instead lay hold of the God-opportunity to unite His people. As His daughter, I received my spanking and began at that point to learn how to turn this tide, the tide of offense that kills so many relationships.
God went on to reveal another nugget in the gold mine: the kingdom we stand united with is the kingdom we will serve. If we stand united with an offense then we stand with the enemy as slaves to his destruction of our lives and destiny. When we stand united to the ways of God as our King, the enemy cannot prevail against us on any battlefield. No force is greater than the united force of the Lord of hosts and His warriors. We are called to be tide-turners and rescue those who are caught in the undertow of divisiveness. God has given us the responsibility of operating in the ministry of reconciliation. Through Jesus Christ, we have been shown how. Therefore it is available to those who will receive and extend the ministry of reconciliation. We can because He did! We have a choice to make. Will we chose to follow God's way of conflict resolution, creating the opportunity to advance the kingdom of God in our lives and the lives of those around us, or will we choose to follow our ways, leading to death in every area of our lives and seeping destruction into the lives of those around us? God's warriors are firemen.
As first I put Matthew 6:12 and "the ministry of reconciliation" into action because I wanted to be forgiven. Quickly, I realized how wrong I had been to hold others captive to their wrong toward me. Some of them didn't even know they had wronged me, but I had felt a right to keep a record of their wrong in my basement. Because I was unable to forgive others, I was unable to receive forgiveness from the Father (Matthew6:14-15). I had wondered why, when I had sought to be forgiven by others, it didn't seem to bring the kingdom principle of reconciliation. The ministry of reconciliation means the relationship is better than it was before the offense occurred. Even though I had been forgiven by God through the blood of Jesus Christ, I was still responsible for the wrong I had done.
In most cases there is not one person who is 100 percent to blame for the problem. We like to think it is always the other person who has done us wrong; they are the ones who need to apologize. However, if we really want the truth, God will reveal the truth. Many times it is a misunderstanding of expectations, or responding based on former unhealed hurts. It is normal to defend ourselves in the midst of the accusations hurled at us rather than seek the solution to the problem. However, this should not be the norm for those in Christ Jesus.
The next nugget in the gold mine of forgiveness; we can be 100 percent right and 100 percent wrong at the same time. We may be 100 percent right with the facts; however, biblically speaking, facts aren't everything. We are 100 percent wrong when we base the outcome on an individual rather than working for a solution to the problem. Rather than working together to resolve the problem, we begin to point the finger, looking for someone to be held responsible. This is where we are 100 percent wrong. The only reason anyone would need to backtrack to find where the error was made is if they want to consider how they could have eliminated the fire before the offense took place. We can be 100 percent right in what we are saying and still be 100 percent wrong in how we said it. How we say things reveals our heart. Not only do we need to speak the truth, but it needs to be in love, from a heart that cares for the individual (Ephesians 4:12). Truth is not a sword to kill or control, but a truth is to set us free (John 8:32). In Hebrews 4:12, the Word of God is to rightly divide, not to gouge and kill. We need more than the truth to bring reconciliation. We need the heart of God for them. We need to care about how the truth is going to affect them.
Along with truth in love, we need God's timing. Waiting too long does just as much damage as not waiting at all. When we wait too long, people have a longer road to recovery. Not waiting enough normally means we haven't given enough time for God to put love in us, thereby creating another explosion. We walk away wondering what happened! I was ready to make things right? Knowing God's timing means knowing His voice.
We are responsible for being ready to reconcile when He says it is time. One time he woke me up in the middle of the night, telling me to go meet someone at the end of their work shift. Another time, He told me to call the individual for a meeting. There have been times when He said, "Turn around and make this right or the enemy will get a foothold." He knows the perfect time to reconcile. We must be bold enough to humble ourselves and make things right, taking full responsibility for our part, no matter what the percentage. We may be only five percent wrong, but we must take ownership of that five percent and remain humbled under any further accusations hurtled.
Forgiveness is not a matter of whether we can or can't it is a matter of whether we will or won't. Forgiveness is a choice. We choose to forgive or we choose not to forgive, but forgiveness is always a choice. Whether they ask to be forgiven or not, it is our responsibility to forgive them immediately. The ministry of reconciliation truly is a miracle, a miracle of forgiveness, leading to unity. Now we must do what is impossible by man's strength, but possible in God's strength--we must humble ourselves before the one with whom we have conflict with.
It had come to the point where I had done enough digging in the gold mine of forgiveness. I had the knowledge and it was time to put it into action. I was nervous as He revealed who I needed to call, one of the biggest boxes in my basement. This box had written on it, "You have a right to everything you did to her because of what she did to you." I realized those words had come from the enemy and I had bought them hook, line and sinker. She did not live in the same state, so I couldn't go in person. But I had to make a call. At the beginning of the conversation, I asked her to forgive me for specific things I had said and done to her. When I had finished apologizing for all I had remembered, she said, "What about this?" "What about when you did that?" She rattled off several other things so fast that I was stunned, but I apologized for each one individually. The Gatling gun continued as she listed more of my wrongs. I was hurt at the petty stuff I had done, thinking it was okay because of what she had done to me. I had justified my wrongs. With this new understanding of forgiveness, I knew what my Father wanted me to do. Even though I could feel my face getting red and my voice wanting to be strained, I rejected my pride and humbled myself by apologizing for everything she remembered. Even under fire, I never brought up the wrongs she had done to me. God had been my strength.
Then I asked to be forgiven. She paused. I couldn't tell if she was loading the Gatling gun or if she didn't know how to respond.
I continued, "I truly am sorry for everything I have done that has caused you such pain. One day I hope you will be able to forgive me. I would like to say that I will never do anything again to hurt you, but I can only say that God is doing a work in me and He promises to complete the work He has begun. I was wrong for all the hurt I caused you."
She spoke words of forgiveness and I was thankful. However, I knew trust had been violated and my change would be challenged in the future. I got off the phone a bit mad at being put in front of the Gatling gun, but quickly heartbroken that I had caused her so much pain evident by her readied list of my wrongs. I never realized until then how bound a person can be when they do not forgive another. I had not remembered even half of what she remembered. Her willingness to forgive me when the offense occurred had begun a root of bitterness inside of her that not only put shackles on me, but affected her relationship with others. I prayed she would believe God would work in others who had offended  her and forgive them even if they never asked to be forgiven. She couldn't see how much life was being stolen from her because of her inability to forgive others. The miracle of reconciliation sets us free from the bondage of bitterness.
Now, let's look at the instructions to the power tool to forgiveness. We are not justifying our former words or actions toward them. It is not our place to expect them to be ready to take responsibility for their part just because we are ready to take responsibility for ours. We cannot go to them with the intentions of making them understand how they have wronged us. We are there to take responsibility for our words and our actions.
There are some keys to reconciliation. The first key begins by saying, "I am sorry for....." We fill in exactly what we are apologizing for. They want to know if we know that what we did was wrong. Without delay, follow by saying: "I am wrong because....." We take responsibility for the pain we have caused them because of our words and our actions. This is the next key to unlocking their hurt, because they want us to take responsibility for the pain we have caused them. Quickly follow with, "Will you forgive me for....." The third key can seem like a combination of the first two, but it is us handing them the key that they set them free from further bitterness, hurt, and anger from the offense. We cannot make them turn the key, but we can give it to them. In Christ, we can remain humble, without being provoked to anger or pointing our finger.
For a person's healing and our release, ask them if they can say the words, "I forgive you," even if they can't say what they forgive you for. If the hurt has gone on for years, or it is deeper than we realize, we cannot force them to forgive us. Therefore, we offer the final key. When they can't say the words, "I forgive you," it is important to respond, "I can see what I have done has hurt you deeply. I hope at some point you will be able to forgive me. Thank you for listening." We are not responsible for them forgiving us; we are responsible for what we have done. In seeking their forgiveness we open the door for the Father's love to be expressed.
The ministry of reconciliation makes relationships stronger than they were before the offense. When an offense has happened, it is as if someone has broken a bone in our body. When we go to God, He assesses the situation, sets the bond, and begins casting. Once the bone is set correctly, and isolated until the bone grows together, the cast can be taken off. But now the muscles are weak. We need to go through the pain of developing those muscles. It is time to work the muscle of humility and brotherly kindness. When we have genuinely sought forgiveness taking responsibility for our part, and work through the forgiveness process with them, the physical therapy is complete. Here is the awesome part of the illustration. When a bone has been broken, reset properly, and physical therapy has been followed, the bone and muscle will be stronger than they were originally. When a break has been made in a relationship, we are not to bail, but to seek our God of reconciliation in such a way that the relationship is better than it was before.
One evening I was working late when someone came to my office to run me up one side and down another. I was a little shocked at all they were spewing forth. I began to take notes. Since I was the captive audience, I was blamed for everything. They went from one thing to another, mixing events and people involved. I took the heat and listened without interruption. When they took a break, I asked if there was anything else. They paused and the Gatling gun began to fire. I filled in details under some of the other topics that were formerly brought up. They paused and I asked again if there was anything else. After shooting another round, they sat down. I was not smug or enraged by the accusations. It was a total God thing. I asked if I could get clarification on what had been shared. We did come across some legitimate complaints. I went ahead and sought their forgiveness. But then there were the ones that we unfounded. It was difficult to take responsibility and apologize for something I knew I didn't do, but because that is what they perceived, I humbled myself, owning up to the fault being mine. Whether we like it or not, we are responsible for how people perceive our actions and words.
Four hours later, reconciliation was achieved. Hallelujah! It was difficult to remain calm at times when they were provoking me to get into an argument. However, God had already revealed another nugget in my gold mine: when a discussion gets to an argument, both people have lost and the enemy is celebrating his victory. I apologized without making them apologize for all the areas in which they falsely accused me. A couple of years later this person was in serious trouble and called me. It took several weeks of my time, but God was so good to give me the privilege to walk them out of their sin. I know I was able to be used because of how I responded the night they came and blasted me.
An enhancement to the four keys of forgiveness is to humble even our posture before them. It is easier to remember my place and purpose--to humble myself and honor them--when I find a seat lower than them. However, I have found that being seated at the table is the absolute best. Standing makes it too easy to shortcut the process, make a light of the offense, or go for the jugular and walk out. Reconciliation works through the pain and awkwardness of an offense because we love others as God does. As I shared earlier, timing is huge! For me, three days is the maximum. I do whatever I have to do to get healed from the hurt and release the anger within those three days. If I can't think about the event without getting upset, then I am not ready to reconcile. I know that if I were to go to them to seek forgiveness it wouldn't take much for them to provoke me into saying somethings I didn't want to say or play the blame game. However, if God can't heal me in three days, I have a bigger problem than what happened with the individual. Remember, forgiveness is a choice. It is a matter of our wanting to. One time I was sharing with the Lord and told Him, "I don't want to...." He returned with His rod of discipline and said, "Then get your want to in the right place." God is my Father and He is right. Discussion was over and I was at a crossroads. Would I continue with the Lord or would I turn back to follow my own desires?
Nobody likes to be disciplined, but when we acknowledge God as our Father we become His children to teach, train, and disciple through His love. He desires for us to live as reconcilers. As reconcilers, we are to rescue others from the undertow of bitterness. God's love is for us to unite under His leadership to advance His kingdom as we dislodge the enemy. Ephesians 4:26-28 says,

"Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your
wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no
longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what
is good, that he may have something to give him who has need."

Be angry at the devil, but love the one who is imprisoned by his lies. God desires for us to live differently because we have received His love that sets us free. Let's pray.

PRAYER LAUNCH
Father, You have been so good to reveal how to use Your power tool of forgiveness and be reconciled to those I have hurt and those who have hurt me. Father, I admit I know the right things to do, but it is not easy. I confess my real issue is not with the person who has hurt me, even the ones who continue to hurt me, but it is in believing that by extending forgiveness, their life will change according to Your plan. Forgive me for not trusting You to make good on my actions of forgiveness. Forgive me for not wanting to extend forgiveness, the ultimate power of Your love. I realize just like the wicked servant that I have released the tormentors into my life by receiving Your free gift of forgiveness and not extending it to others (Matthew 18:27-35). As I live with the power tool of forgiveness in the ministry of reconciliation, I join Your warriors in setting the captives free.
Father, I have been a prisoner of the hurts I have stored in my basement. I stored so many hurts. I knew I needed to forgive, but part of me didn't want to and the other part didn't know how to get complete healing. Forgive me for trying to live with these hurts. It is no badge of honor to wear these wounds. It only reveals how little I know of Your love. Your love brings freedom, not bondage. Father, I ask now for You to come with me to my basement. I can't forgive these people and all they have done in my own strength. I need Your heart for them. We are sinners saved by grace, but we must live by love. Without Your love, we continue to hurt each other.
Father, as we open each box, I ask for You to help me verbalize forgiveness toward each person who has hurt me. Forgive me, Father, for thinking I was so right and had to protect myself from being hurt again.
I bless my ability to trust You at all times, even with those who have hurt me over and over again. I bless my mind to release them from the wrong they have done to me. I bless the Spirit of God within me to pour out forgiveness to all those who have hurt me and to erase the hurt from my mind. I release Your compassion to be extended to me and overflow in my life to all those around me.
You wanted me to be healed from the hurts long ago. Thank you for coming to my rescue, and for giving me understanding of the ministry of reconciliation and the love I need to become whole and healed again. Thank you for giving me the love I need to open each box and love the person inside through the miracle of forgiveness.
I want to extend to others all that You have extended to me, the power of Your compassion, peace, love, and joy; Your longsuffering, kindness, and goodness; Your faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Father, I want access to Your power that will change my life forever, and the lives of those around me. I bless my determination to reach and touch Your cloak that I might draw virtue to heal my body, soul, and spirit, so that I will have more than enough to release to others. Teach me to put out the fire rather than fuel it. Teach me to turn the tide of offense as well as rescue those destroying the lives of others.
Father, You are so great. I may fall on my face but I never want to stop getting into Your presence (Proverbs 24:16). I bind the enemy who seeks to fill my basement with offense. I lose the truth of Your love that gives me the courage to forgive, the courage to care more about the person than who is at fault. I bless my life with Your grace and love toward each person who is hurt and who is hurting others. I bless my mind to fully understand and operate in the miracle of forgiveness in the ministry of reconciliation. I seek You so that I remain humble before You and others. I trust You to defend me, making things right, and let the truth be revealed. I trust You to guide me into righteousness. I bless my heart and mind to be set on living my life to love You and Your people. Right now I release forgiveness to everyone who has hurt me. I bless them to know Your kindness in Jesus' name. Amen!
