IN DEBT to the Believer and the Unbeliever
"Both to Greeks and to barbarians
(to the cultured and the uncultured), both to the wise and to the foolish,
I have an obligation to discharge and a duty to perform and a debt to pay."

Our Ministry of the New Covenant

"Now all these things are from God,
who reconciled us to Himself through Christ,
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation."
2 Corinthians 5:18

We have been given the ministry of reconciliation, the ministry of the new covenant.  Through the blood of Jesus we have been reconciled to God, our Father. He has made a new covenant with us through His Son. All that is His and that is in His kingdom is now ours. We have access to it through the blood of Jesus.
As we establish in our heart and mind our redeemed relationship with our Father through Christ (through the blood and righteousness of Jesus) we now have access to receive by faith, and to declare and proclaim, our inheritance. Our words spoken from our redeemed position create our new world, our new future. Our words are seeds that we sow into our future. They are full of power and fruit, and when we speak them we are planting them, and they will produce the fruit of what was spoken as we water them with our faith and our praise of thanksgiving and expectation.
"If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!" In Christ we have a fresh new beginning to start over and plant good seed for a good future. Knowing who we are now in Christ and knowing that the blessings of the kingdom are now ours through Him, we speak our world into existance just as our Father did when He created the world. We will be challenged with our faith as circumstances will surely speak loud against our faith seeds that we're been planting, but be strong in the Lord. Keep planting, keep speaking His Word, and keep watering them with the Spirit of His love. You will reap a harvest if you do not faint.
Our God is a covenant-keeping God. When we are faithless, He remains faithful. He never moves from His position and promise.  Our blessings and life are found IN Him. As we surrender, turn and embrace Him, He lavishes His love, grace, peace, protection and abundant provision upon us.

Father God, we thank You for the covenant that we have with You through the blood of Your Son Jesus. We thank You that You are a covenant-keeping God. We thank You for the promises and power of Your Word, and we plant them in faith, watering them and looking with expectation for the fruit and harvest of our planting. We thank You, Father, that You have given us all that is in You through Your Son, Jesus. And as we step into our place in the kingdom through Him, and we take our position in Him at Your right side, we partner with You to see Your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Be Still and Know

"Be still and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalm 46:10

There comes a time to just be still, to wait, to rest, and to just trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. There comes a time when you have done all you know to do, and now you just stand, trust, believe, and just love Him for who He is. Jesus IS the author and finisher of your faith. What He started He WILL finish. Just sit under the spout of the river of His love and let the water of His Spirit flow into you and through you, watering all the seeds of prayers and giving that you have planted. Let God and time have it's full course and you will soon see your garden begin to bloom all around you. He will cause your life to be a garden of His delight and glory as you seek, sow and soak in His presence.

Thank You, Jesus, for the peace and rest of Your presence. Thank You that we can come to You and drink of the river of Your delight and find refreshing and strength and peace in our times of trouble. Thank You that in You we live and move and have our being, You ARE our life, Jesus. You ARE our reason for living. And You have come to give us life and give it abundantly. Thank You, Lord, that everything that You have begun in us You will finish and perfect as we walk, rest, and abide in You. Amen
